Non-Landed Residential Price Index Print E-mail
The index shows the price movements of non-landed homes located in different areas. The core central region includes prime districts 9, 10, 11, downtown core and Sentosa. The rest of central region comprises of central region outside postal districts 9,10,11, downtown core and Sentosa areas. The outside central regions comprises of areas such as Jurong and Pasir Ris.

The table also shows the price index for properties that are completed vs those being built.

Why it is useful?
These figures provide a much accurate account of the typical price of a non-landed home in a particular area as location is a key factor in property prices. The prime districts will command better prices. Brand new homes will also command a premium price than uncompleted homes who usually attract speculators or investors hoping to make a quick gain from price appreciations.
